How to switch to Prexella
Moving practice software is mostly a checklist problem. Here is the order that keeps your calendar running while you move.
1. Export what you own from your current system
Before you cancel anything, download your client list, your upcoming appointments, and any signed documents and notes your current system lets you export. Most systems offer CSV or PDF exports from their settings or reports area. Keep these exports for your records-retention obligations regardless of which software you use next.
2. Book a setup call
Prexella is set up for you. On the call, the team configures your session types and fees, intake and consent forms, booking rules, reminder emails, and your branding and domain. Bring your exports and ask how your client records will be moved; the answer depends on what your current system lets you export.
3. Run both systems side by side
Point new bookings at your Prexella booking page while existing appointments finish in your old system. Most practices run both for one billing cycle so no session, payment or superbill falls through the gap.
4. Cut over
Once the old calendar is empty and your final invoices and superbills are out, cancel the old subscription. Prexella keeps the client portal, forms and superbills on your own domain from then on.
